2020–2026
Honolulu / Japan / Southern Colorado
This page gathers street photographs, observations, and visual studies made between 2020 and 2026 alongside my studio practice. The images move between Honolulu, Japan, and towns across southern Colorado, placing dense urban spaces, coastal cities, quiet roads, and overlooked edges into the same visual field.
Rather than following a linear story, the sequence is built through rhythm, atmosphere, composition, and recurring details. What may first appear random is organized by attention: repeated forms, surfaces, shadows, gestures, and moments of stillness across different environments.
Photography, for me, is a way of studying places that carry memory and spiritual weight. This body of work brings together locations that would not normally share the same space, creating a quiet record of convergence between the familiar and unfamiliar, the urban and isolated, the explored and unexplored.
